Mama's Birthday

Yesterday was Mama's birthday!yay.gif : 36 par 36 pixels.

Job Interview failed in a good way

Last Friday I had an interview with the Jewish Vocational Service. It was AMAZING!! I was hoping to get an internship, but it didn't really work out!gigglesmile2.gif : 19 par 21 pixels.haha :P, BUT I got to meet great people there.goldstar.gif : 33 par 49 pixels. It was just amazing!!! First I met with my interviewers, they were so sweet and nice heartshape1.gif : 46 par 30 pixels. then as soon as we started talking, she asked what other language I speak and I said speak Farsi. Then she said really? I think my boss speaks Farsi flabbergasted.gif : 22 par 24 pixels. I was like really? hell no (in my head) topodaworld.gif : 32 par 40 pixels.so then we went in and I met Gail Luxenberg Gruen, she's JVS Executive Director!!happytongue.gif : 19 par 26 pixels. Do you know how cool that is??yay.gif : 36 par 36 pixels. so we started talking and it was amazing, I'm so happy and I can't thank her enough for giving me her time to just meet me dreamyeyesf.gif : 28 par 48 pixels. then we went back to the interview.
two mistakes that I made was that I was chewing gum!!!wagfinger2.gif : 33 par 25 pixels. the other one was while I was talking I had my hands in my pocket yikes.gif : 38 par 47 pixels. I guess I was kinda nervous and excited!! emotions were running high! runaround.gif : 45 par 29 pixels.when we were done with the interview I waited for my counselor to come. She came with her friend, Amy I think!dunnosmiley.gif : 42 par 18 pixels. So we went out to have lunch, eating.gif : 35 par 25 pixels.but I didn't get anything, and I know it was rude, but my money was in my bag and I had to look for it and it would've took so long and I didn't want them to wait for megaah.gif : 37 par 41 pixels. so I just decide to eat anything, but there was also another reason, I'm kinda saving my money to pay for my classes winking.gif : 19 par 18 pixels. It was a great day in downtown with my lovely best counselor Hope. Hope said she was really proud of me!victory1.gif : 28 par 29 pixels. I'm so happy, and she said the interviewers thought I was sweet! hahahlaugh1.gif : 19 par 19 pixels. that feels so good!!yourecute.gif : 32 par 49 pixels.


Down town Chicago is sooo beautiful, we walked on the bridge, and passed the sears tower! pretty amazing.

I told my supervisor I'm going to HRMAC (Human Resource Management Association of Chicago) embarrassed.gif : 19 par 18 pixels. but I actually went to JVSlaugh3.gif : 28 par 24 pixels. where the hell is HRMAC! what was I thinking?laugh2.gif : 19 par 20 pixels.

Happy Norooz


Happy Norooz to all my fellow Persian friends It's been 10 years  that I haven't celebrated Norooz. Being half persian I haven't really cared about the new year. This year though, It's been like hell from the very start so I thought why not celebrate the new year!
